  3. @Jesus Christ You clearly don't understand how the Electoral College works. It doesn't "help" a candidate win.

  4.    The Electoral College has worked in every election but two. The candidate that wins the Electoral College usually wins the popular vote. If we didn't have the Electoral College those states with the least population wouldn't have a vote/voice in an election.

  5.    You are correct. I was only thinking about recent elections but you are right it has happened 5 times in history where a presidential candidate has won the Electoral College but lost the popular vote. I don't know what the solution is to fix those problems but I don't think getting rid of the Electoral College is the answer. That was tried in 1970 or 71 but didn't pass the Senate.
