Kid's here in Tennessee have been in school since August, no problems.

@jasonsadventure Yes, masks, cleaning, and social distancing as much as possible. Nothing has been mentioned about the ventilation system. I doubt very much that anything has changed in most of the schools here as the majority of them are 20 plus years old.

@jasonsadventure I didn't respond to your first comment. My comment was in response to the original post. If CDC guidelines are followed I don't see any reason for schools to be kept closed. However, there are schools in some states that are not opened.

@jasonsadventure If it was really about public health and following CDC guidelines then children would be back in school full-time. However, when teachers unions get involved with CDC guidelines that is not following the science. Teachers unions are not comprised of doctors, disease specialists, or other health professionals. Therefore, they have no business dictating or influencing CDC guidelines.

@jasonsadventure That isn't the only thing you were discussing. Your comment to me was, masks, cleaning, and social distancing. If all of those things are followed then children should be in school period! However, there are some children in some states that are still not in school due to the teachers unions. If you are in agreement with that then yes we agree. If not we can agree to disagree.

@jasonsadventure I think the Biden administration and local politicians should put pressure on teachers unions to open schools. I think parents should also do the same in their local communities. I'm not sure if either one would do any good, but I don't think it would make the situation worse.

So now vaccines are going to be used as blackmail by teachers unions. No vaccines = no children in school.
