  12. ​ @James-to7pi  I remember going to school when most of the trucks in the parking lot had guns on the rack. However, we rarely ever heard of a school shooting. Guns aren't the problem. Our society has a mental health problem and serious cultural issues.

  13.  @James-to7pi  Then that would include almost all guns. As a lot of them use 10 round magazines as standard equipment. Plus that would most surely be ruled unconstitutional. If you require a license, insurance etc. the people most impacted would be poor people. There's a lot of poor people in rural areas that use hunting rifles to provide for their families.

Democrat controlled from 67-71 and 75-79. 79-87 was republican from 87 to 2011 control flipped back and forth from democrats to republicans. Tennessee has had republican governor's since 2011. I'm guessing you're referring to Kkk leader Nathan Bedford. The states Constitution had to be amended to get rid of Bedford. No worries Governor Lee and republican legislature got rid of those laws put into place by democrats who controlled the state from 1801-1881 then from 1893-1967.

  16.  @jamiemawer4865  So republicans are running roughshod over the norms. The Supreme Court has had 9 justices for over 100 years. I will agree McConnell should have considered Obama's SC pick. However, why do you think that one instance by republicans gives the democrats the right to pack the court with 4 more justices? The democrats also want to do away with the Electoral College and give DC statehood, both of which violate the Constitution. When Trump wanted to get rid of the filibuster McConnell and other republicans told him no. I don't see Schumer saying they shouldn't get rid of the filibuster. Thankfully Manchin and Kirsten Sinemia have some common sense concerning the filibuster. The filibuster protects minority rights in the Senate and makes both sides compromise, something that is severely lacking in today's society. When the majority changes I bet the democrats would feel differently about getting rid of the filibuster.

If it was because of Obama why didn't we achieve all those milestones in the 8 years Obama was in office? Also when I voted for Trump in 2016 he was definitely the better choice. Hillary Clinton was a terrible candidate and I actually voted for and liked Bill Clinton. I guess we will agree to disagree.

There are also economists who support the theory that the tax cuts and deregulation actually helped the economy and thus created the record low unemployment and record high stock market. However, people like you will never admit that Trump did anything good. Is there faults and flaws with Trump? Yes, of course there is, no one is perfect. At least I admit Trump made mistakes. You are a "blue no matter who" type.

  38.  @timogul  You are entitled to your opinion. I however, cannot understand voting for a career politician like Biden who has put bad policies into place in the Senate. He is currently in favor of doing away with several parts of our Constitution. Then there's his family deals with China, some of which don't look good. If you don't like Trump because of his remarks, policies, or family business that's your prerogative. However, Biden is no better, his past and recent racist remarks, the lying, plagiarizing etc. His third time running for president was the lucky charm thanks to Obama and Clyburn resurrecting his campaign. I personally don't see how anyone that knew anything about Biden would think he would make a good president, but some people just voted blue no matter who because orange man bad.
