There was no party switch! That is a Democrat Party myth! The democrats in the south didn't reliably vote republican until the 90's. The democrats didn't change their party affiliation. They voted for democrats in their state legislatures and governorships into the mid 90's.

@scytaleghola5969 When has the Republican Party ever encouraged white supremacists, or white nationalists? Has any national office holder from the Republican Party ever belonged to or supported any white nationalists? That is the problem with a lot of democrats, they want to say the parties switched without offering up any evidence. Strom Thurmond was the only Democrat to switch to the Republican Party. George Wallace was never a member of the Republican Party. He ran as an Independent, but then won governorship 4 times under the Democrat Party. Democrats want to paint the whole Republican Party as the party of racists. That is definitely not true. Are there extremists who support the Republican Party? Yes. However, there are also extremists who support the Democrat Party too.

@rusty3581 The historical voting data shows that yes, the south was democrat controlled throughout the 60's and into the late 80's and mid 90's. Must southern states were democrat controlled until the 90's. For example Georgia was democrat controlled from 1872-2003. Mississippi 1882-1992 Louisiana 1887-1980. So no party switch occurred when those states constituents continued to vote for the Democrat Party.

@scytaleghola5969 LOL you're not a democrat, but you sure do spout democrat talking points. Do yourself a favor and fact check your claim that Trump never condemned white supremacists. There's plenty of evidence that Trump has indeed condemned white supremacists.

@scytaleghola5969 I don't watch Tucker, Laura, or Sean Hannity too much. If anyone watches, they should take anything presented with a grain of salt and do their own research. However, the same can be said for some hosts on MSNBC and CNN. I've heard many lies spoken as the truth. Joy Reid saying that Nick Sandman was a white supremacist. Joy Reid also saying the same thing about Kyle Rittenhouse. She also said Rittenhouse traveled across state lines with a gun, and this was after the trial. Rachel Maddow pushed the Russian collusion story. Congressman Schiff said he had proof of definite Russian collusion and that Trump was a Russian associate. That was categorically false and done just to push a narrative. You can find fault with both the right and left media. They both have a narrative to push. You have to do your own research if you want the truth.

@scytaleghola5969 I saw the show with Joy Reid, but I know YouTube deletes videos or maybe the host deleted the video. As far as Russian collusion. None of Trump's associates were prosecuted for Russian collusion. They were mostly financial crimes or foreign lobbying. Even Mueller when questioned by Congress said there wasn't enough evidence to support collusion, or willful misconduct. Also there was something about what information was gained in the Trump tower meeting and if it had monetary value. However, Mueller did find evidence of obstruction. We can agree to disagree.

@scytaleghola5969 I think they make up the rules as they go along and then decide what laws they are going to follow. Also for whom those rules and laws apply to. Lady Justice is supposed to be blind. However, it's usually rules for thee but not for me!
