One of Biden's many mistakes was negotiating with the Taliban who are terrorists to secure the airport. That got 13 members of our Military killed!

@msdee6010 One of the reasons Afghan contractors were not pulled out prior to the evacuation of American troops is because they were there to help and support American and Afghan Military. Those support personnel should have been pulled out in tandem. Bagram air base should have never been abandoned.

@msdee6010 Troop levels in Afghanistan at the end of President Obama's term were about 10,000. Not the tens of thousands that you stated. Maybe Trump could have done a better job of evacuating support personnel. However we still had about 5,000 troops there and we were supporting the Afghan military. Perhaps some personnel could have been pulled out, but we also had a global pandemic going on. That did hinder the processing of SIV applications in 2020. I do not think Trump did everything perfectly in regards to Afghanistan. However, Biden ignored Military and Diplomatic personnel on the ground in Afghanistan. The Military report on Afghanistan clearly states that President Biden ignored their requests and created a chaotic withdrawal. Biden and other members of the Democrat Party slammed President Trump and his administration for negotiating with the (terrorists)Taliban. Then Biden and his administration negotiated with those very same terrorists to secure the airport in Kabul. Those actions are on the Biden administration.
