@gemanscombe4985 The Senate is on recess. They would all have to be called back early. I will agree McConnell should have taken a vote on the $2,000 checks. Can you also admit that Pelosi should have taken a vote on the $1,200 checks in October? Both sides have displayed that they really don't care about the American people.

@gemanscombe4985 I've already said McConnell is problem, he needs to go. The whole establishment is the problem, but I see you cannot admit that.

@gemanscombe4985 Obviously the whole Congress cannot be replaced. You are only in control of the members in your particular state. My point about Pelosi was that she's just as bad as McConnell. She held up $1,200 checks in October. The people could have used that money. Instead we get $600 and they (republicans and democrats) fill the bill with PORK! Too much money spent on foreign countries. Sadly you cannot admit that democrats are just as much to blame as republicans.

@gemanscombe4985 You say we're going to stick to relief checks, but move to impeachment. As I said before McConnell should have brought the relief bill to the floor, yes before the $2,000 one. He did cost Americans $1,400 plus the unemployment running out for millions. I'm not afraid to bash my republican party for their actions, but so many people on the democratic party side cannot do the same. We will see what Pelosi does with the articles. Per the Constitution if she sends them the Senate has to take them up.

@gemanscombe4985 I already said McConnell was wrong on many occasions for holding up legislation. Obama's SCOUTS pick was one of many. You didn't point out any flaw with my reasoning. You just stated your opinion. McConnell held up relief checks, but so did Pelosi. You are the one with "flawed" reasoning because you can't acknowledge that Pelosi is at fault too. As for impeachment all I said is Pelosi needs to deliver the articles of impeachment. When she does that McConnell has no choice in the matter, he cant stall and sit on them. There is a time restriction per the Constitution. The question is will Pelosi deliver the article? As I recall she sat on the articles of impeachment last year and made herself look foolish. If her goal is to remove Trump from office because he's so terrible and can't be trusted with the nuclear codes she will deliver the articles after the vote. Like I said we'll see what she does.
