Russia looked weak because they did not emotionally react to all the provocation, but when they torpedoed ten cities in Ukraine after the bridge incident, all of their allies and supporters were happy, because it was justified and warranted. Now the gloves are off, and Kiev will get what's coming. Russia blames Kiev for all of the provocations to keep the war inside Ukraine. Russia will punish the teachers pet.
