@lanosduki3426 the stories were written by men in the 1600s. Ignorance and illiteracy reigned supreme in those days. Paper was not invented. But the clergy just like our governments today, was successfully in deceiving the people. Even in Israel none can find any ancient artifacts of biblical patriarchs. There are many fakes out there. Even places have been recreated to fool the pilgrims of the world. The characters in the bible are fictional, all of them. I cannot use the bible as a history book, it's not. But to each his own, if that's what you believe. The word lie, is in believe.
