  1. Ms. Benard admitted that going into the city to intervene militarily could be difficult because the junta has immense support from the people. Then why don't they just leave the people alone. They are telling the world that they want the military to rule. The deposed president could avoid bloodshed of the people by just resigning. If he selfishly thinks that he will survive a military intervention and be reinstalled, he is sorely mistaken.
