  10. Russia never wanted to use this ukraine transit pipeline after the nordstream 2 was built. Russia wanted to cut ukraine out and not pay anymore transit fees. That's why NS2 was built. Ukraine complained in 2021 that they would lose transit fees, and it was Russia who renewed the deal until 2024. Therefore, it is really Russia who wouldn't be renewing the deal and not ukraine.
