  2. Russia is getting richer now that they are selling their resources at a fairer market price. Europe benefitted more than Russia as they were being supplied with very cheap oil and gas from Russia. Europe's immense wealth are derived from exploiting third world countries for resources and using cheap Russia gas and oil for their manufacturing industries. Now, this European prosperity will end.

  7. Because Russia moved away from supplying the West with cheap oil and gas and are now selling their resources at a fairer market prices to China and India, Russia is now seeing prosperity. Europe was getting the better deal from cheap Russia oil and gas. Now we will see the decline of Europe as they are now buying g oil and gas at a greater cost to themselves. Europe needs Russia more than Russia needs Europe.
