  20. A week ago, a German diplomat was berating the Chinese presence in Namibia, to the Namibian president. The president asked why is that a problem for Germany? The president also pointed out to this German diplomat that it was the Chinese who bailed out the USA in 2008, during it's financial troubles. The president said every time the Europeans come to Africa they always want to talk about the Chinese, and said that he's no one's puppet... There is a concerted campaign by the EU to discourage Chinese influence. This is soft power for now, but I fear that this will become Kinetic in the future. The west have two things in abundance; money and weapons. I hope that African countries make military alliances with China and Russia soon.
