  22. I don't believe he was naive. I believe he let everything play out as he's does and he prepared for war and unprecedented sanctions. He plays chess, not checkers. He is patient. This is why he got elected with a super majority and is winning the kinetic war in ukraine. He actually fooled Merkel into thinking that Russia was a weak country. He fooled the West into thinking he was not capable of withstanding sanctions. He fooled the West into believing that Russia had no friends. Putin is a student of history, and he also studies his foolish enemies. and is a very studious person in economics, finance, and energy. The West has underestimated him and the resilience of the Russian people.
