  3. I saw an interesting documentary about the Dogan tribe in Mali. They showed how disputes are resolved: A farmer had one of his goats tear down his neighbors fence. This neighbor was very upset and took the matter to his tribal chief. The chief called the offending neighbor, sat the two men down and resolved the matter. The chief told the offending neighbor to help his neighbor repair the fence so that his goat will not tear the fence down. So both men together repaired the broken fence and all was well.
