Eventually the Juntas waited out the french and Macron reluctantly told his ambassador to retun to france and ordered his troops to evacuate. All this was done so peacefully as the juntas did not act emotionally. As the french military were driving on the sandy roads in Niger, no one came out to jeer, or laugh at the french military as they were allowed to leave peacefully. This I really admired how the junta handled the tense situation. Bazoum is still alive.
