Whenever the party leaders shift their priorities away from the norm, this freaks out the core of the party. Democrats was known to be anti-war, but biden abruptly shifted the party to the right and has aligned it with Republicans. Thus, we clearly see that there is a uniparty. Smartly, the Republicans see the public is aware of this. McConnell was too close to biden in policy agenda, and the trick is to move away from this, and so he resigns. They are trying to recreate the Republicans party and will absorb disaffected democrats who do not want to subsidize ukraine, want the borders closed, and want to take care of home first. We are seeing a re-engineering of the two parties in real time.

  2. I disagree. Putin has the capacity to start ww3. However, he also has to consider allies such as China and his BRICS partners. It is foolish to start ww3 when we see the deindustrialzation of Europe unfolding. Putin is allowing the West to impale itself. He sees how weak they all are. He assesses the situation in real time and knows when it's time to take radical actions. In the meantime, nato has no ammo for ukraine, their wonder weapons are useless, and the sentiment in Europe is shiting. Europe is getting poorer each day while Russia is getting richer. Therefore, Putin has no need to stop the NATO provocation, but he will always act to stabilize his own country and keep the unity of the multipolar world, which is BRICS.
