@gavinhaynes5632 thanks. I enjoy the discussion as well. Most wars can be prevented; Europe has proven this since WWII. Negotiations in good faith will see us through this, with everyone winning. I'm an optimistic person.

The Old World was a world of eternal wars and disease. Remember the 100 years war? WW1 and WWII ?. History does always repeat itself, and so it begins anew.

@Jono1874 the Russian spokesperson tells the world the strategy was to end it quickly. Do you believe that? Putin is handling Eukrain like his virgin lover; gentle, and patient, until Eukrain succumb to his will. He did not go in with all his might, raping and pillaging.

@tanberetO please don't make up qoutes. Sun Tzu also said, "to make oneself look weak to the enemy, when you are actually strong." Putin does not have to sue for peace, he can simply withdraw his military. He's surrounded the capital, in other words, Kiev is under siege. Negotiations need to take place asap. Interesting times to be sure.

@tanberetO the negotiations are needed to save lives, winter is here. You feel Russia is losing? There is a three mile convoy heading to Kiev, and the city is surrounded by Russian military. The power grids have not been destroyed yet, infrastructure is still in place for the moment. A siege will devastate the people inside the city, no food, water and heat. No Russian air force deployed yet. The media is giving people false hope.
