  1. Assad drove an old Honda accord to work and without bodyguards. The cars on display on tv belonged to his father. However, the people felt that in the end, he betrayed them. Yet if he had fought against the great hegemon, many of these people, it would have been destroyed by the gods of war who wants to see human sacrifices. Keeping them unharmed is the greatest gift he left behind. History will be kind to Assad of Syria.

  2. The fact that the treasonous Syrian generals were already bought off, I do not blame Assad from leaving Syria. In fact, if he had stayed on and tried to put up a fight, those same treasonous genralls would have made sure he did not exist.
