  3. I saw a press conference last Thursday where Ron Johnson was asked about financial support to Ukraine. He said that he would like to support the Ukrainians but at some point in time the usa will start to recognize what the reality of on the ground is.

  4. I watched a senate republican press conference last Thursday talking about the debt ceiling debate. A reporter managed to ask senator Ron Johnson a fleeting question about Ukraine. Reporter: Senator Johnson, What is your reaction to the administration plan to send thousands to Ukraine? Senator Johnson: We came from the secured briefing on how are you going to change the dynamics on the field. I want to support the people of Ukraine, but, at some point in time, we gonna have to start recognize what the reality on the ground is. Senator Johnson is the vice chair on the Senate Ukrainian caucus. Take from this what you will.
