@haiderrazazaidi2262 so true. I also read an article in the Harvard international review dated 10/10/2020 about how Ukraine had the largest underground storage facility for gas in Europe. They have been heavily increasing the amount of gas stored for European clients since 2020. Perhaps this is a backup plan against Russia. So with this reduction by Russia to Germany, these clients would have to tap into these reserves to supply gas to Poland, Bulgaria, and the ones whose had were turned off. They will still have a shortage of gas this winter because they are using their reserves now. Lol . Chess vs checkers.

@ccahill2322 The EU signed a deal with Israel and Egypt yes. However Israel only has 0.1 percent of world supply of natural gas. Egypt is taking all of Israel's supply at the moment. However, it will be years before this supply to Europe will commence. In addition, this meagre supply cannot satisfy what they receive from Russia, it's a small drop in a bucket. In the mean time, the EU isn't ready for Prime Time, as they are scrambling to get energy suppliers. In three months they will be facing winter. I don't think Russia will bail them out like they did last winter, when Russia generously increased gas supply because Europe's gas reserves ran out of gas.
