  1. 1- you really think the police or news people are the ones that come up with all the solutions? 2- police do try to come up with solutions. They are part of govt hearings etc that try to come up with solutions...why would you think a report on someone that was murdered is the time and place to start talking about solutions. This was just a news report on an incident that took place.

  2. the supply of guns comes from the supply of legally owned guns so you are correct we should take away more guns to reduce the supply available to criminals and therefore reduce gun violence. Glad you agree.

  4. Nearly half of all gun violence is with a legally owned gun so chances are nearly 50/50. However your point is useless. All guns start off legally somewhere so this involved a gun that was legal at some point in time.

  8. shootings have been occurring since the invention of the gun. This has happened 40 years ago also. You just became an old over reactive little drama queen.

  9.  @joeposteraros  not absolutely. A kid (around 17 years old) was shot near where I lived a few years ago. It was a case of misidentification. The shooter had a disagreement with someone and mistook the kid as the person he was fighting with and shot him. Had nothing to do with gangs. Just a bunch of young kids fighting that unfortunately had access to a gun.

  21. no it won't. There are numerous studies that prove that the death penalty is not a deterrent to crime. And if you don't believe the studies just look a the US. They have the death penalty and they still have crime. They are the highest country in the world when it comes to gun violence.
