  8. C21 just passed into law in Dec 2023. There hasn't been enough time for it to take effect or pass any assumptions on if it made streets safer or not yet. However if you compare countries that do ban guns to a country like the US then it is pretty safe to assume it will become safer. You just sound foolish.

  9. criminals get their supply of guns from the legal supply so you are correct legal firearms owners are a big part of this problem. Also a legal firearm owner is far more likely to pick up their gun in a heat of passion and use it to commit a crime then someone that doesn't have a gun.

Criminals get their supply of guns from the legal supply so limiting the supply of legal guns limits the amount available for criminals. In other words criminals may ignore the laws but the laws are there to make crime less easy to commit. We still have drug overdoses and car accidents also. So by your logic should we just get rid of all drug and traffic laws also because by your logic they don't work? Also a gun owner is more likely to use their gun in a crime and become a criminal then someone that doesn't have a gun. You sound foolish.
