All it takes is for the "good guy" to be provoked (like a fight with his condo board) for him to become a dangerous murderer.   38. it was a 73 year old man. It is unlikely a 73 year old man bought some black market gun from some gang member. It is more likely this was a hunting rifle or hand gun. And even if it wasn't. Even if we assume he did get this from some gang member then the gun would have started off legal somewhere. So no matter what you want to try and argue the gun was legal at some point in time. Had it not been for the legal gun it would never have made it into this guys hands to kill five people.

  45. This was Vaughan......in Canada. Not the US. We do have gun laws and we are making them stricter. Shootings like this are extremely rare. There have only be about 4 mass shootings in Canada in the last 10 to 15 years. And while this is tragic it is not the "traditional" type of mass shooting that we usually see with some angry person (usually young guy) shooting random strangers. This was a 73 year old man that was in a disagreement with his condo board so he shot the board members. It is considered a mass shooting because there were 5 people killed but it was not the same random event you would normally see. This was local to the building.
