the only lie about the Carbon Tax is the increase in prices. A 3% tax no matter what it is called doesn't explain a 10%, 20% or more increase in prices. Blaming Carbon Tax is what PP wants you to do so it deflects away from his supporters corporate price hikes. Corporate greed at its finest and you are helping by blaming a tax instead of what it really is.

Gives you $200 tax break today then increases your taxes 10% once elected. Give small with one hand steal more with the other hand. And it isn't limited to Trudeau. It is all politicians from all parties and all levels. Buy your vote with your own money only to be taxed 10 times more later to make up for it.

There shouldn't be GST on anything. It was brought in as a temporary tax to pay off the debt. But hey....when has any politician from any party at any level ever been honest.

a simple Google Search- Bank of Canada analysis says 0.15% increase in inflation can be attributed to the carbon tax. So as I said it doesn't justify a 10 or 20% or more increase in prices. As someone that took economics in the best rated university in this country I would believe other economists before I believe the BS that PP spews out to win the votes from simple minded people like you.

@wyw201 most people hear Carbon Tax they cry about Trudeau. However if you are not talking about Trudeau then you should be well aware of the carbon tax. And if it was in place for decades then it proves that it doesn't justify a 20% increase in prices because we didn't have that for the last few decades. It was only recently in the last few years (under Trudeau).

@wyw201 I speak on behalf of facts. Fact is 3% raise in gas price doesn't explain a 20% price increase on other unrelated products (doesn't even explain a 20% increase in gas prices).
