  1. probably but it also depends on what is burning. People here are saying it is a plastic recycling location so if it is plastics that is like an oil fire burning.

  2.  @wallyedmonds8199  yeah I don't work directly with sprinkler installers or fire code etc however I do work indirectly with them and I see it all the time also. The building may have been designed for something like a standard warehouse or manufacturing plant that left the building and the new occupants are now something completely different. I design buildings and we make sure all equipment, warehouse racking etc is properly aligned to sprinklers, aligned with proper distances to fire exits etc however once the building is set up either the people that the building was designed for make their own changes that changes distance to fire doors, alignments etc or they leave the building and new owners come in and move everything so things like warehouse racking that was designed to be aligned to sprinkler heads are no longer anywhere near where they should be when new owners set up completely different racking layouts etc. Then they block doors etc. Things are set to code but hard to reinforce when new people take over. Hard to have an entire building sprinkler system taken down and rehung, can't move fire doors etc.
