" Cowards will die 1000 times before the end but the valiant only tastes death once." - Julius Ceasar Emperor of Rome

The damage is done what the hell did you expect? The whole crowd going " oh ok let's go home." This lasted for weeks and they had endured abuse from Beijing and they have officially had enough with China.

Why are you supporting slavery?

Lady I can't wait to see you stand trial for every crime your government is guilty of. Concealing this virus being one of them. Burning your own people alive, which is a crime against humanity, being another.

Russell Phelan not according to the CCP. Politically I am well aware of that. It is not my attempt to be ignorant of political boundaries. Rather my attempt was to hit a probeijinger below the belt by pointing out how people that they consider Chinese don't want to be Chinese and quite possibly never want to be Chinese. Their most recent election being proof of this. Hence why I said " basically telling China to go f### themselves." I apologize for any false impression that comment may have generated. I will just simply say it was intended to cause provocation or at least tell the probeijinger that I wasn't born yesterday.

You know the UK said something very Similar about a strip of land in north America as well as Ireland and we all know where that went. You push people around long enough eventually they will push back. Hell I only need a book on Chinese history to prove that since every few centuries some idiot in power ends up learning that historical lesson himself. Don't believe me? Well ever heard of Romance of the Three kingdoms? That's just one example. The warring states period is another. I can keep going. Anybody who thinks HK belongs to China and by virtue of that fact China is free to do whatever the hell it wants well I am sorry but that might as well be an admission to being an idiot that doesn't even know his own history. If you still don't believe me ok I will give you a fair chance find me one example in history where some jerk off ruler took his power and position too far and the people didn't fight back because of it? If you can't find one then you don't have an excuse to write that off.

@maggiechannel88 realistically apartments don't work that way. It's not about right or wrong due to the fact each tenants rights are equal to each other. In other words your analogy is not only flawed it's not even realistic. What would make it realistic though is suppose the landlord wanted to give a tenant the boot simply because he was black, or maybe it he had a religion like Christianity now the tenant is fully within his rights to fight back. In fact most countries in the west have laws which make such actions illegal that are referred to as civil rights laws. These are laws which guarentee equal protections under the law gives such a tenant the right to even file lawsuit against the landlord. This is fair because he is being removed for what the law refers to as injuries by the landlord. An injury in the legal definition would be any action which either does physical, financial, emotional, or psychological harm. So in this corrected analogy HK not only has the right to contest a government decision it also has the responsibility to act and take appropriate steps to alter or abolish such decisions and that is right.

@mr.j4871 this was posted 2 days ago. Care to rephrase that blatantly bullshit story you just told? https://youtu.be/4dysXbyd6hg

@mr.j4871 here is one with Taiwan basically telling China to go f### themselves https://youtu.be/9GCgBmQiaUk looks more like Chinese people don't really like their government after all.
1
@mr.j4871 here is even one about the Paul Revere of the coronavirus in Wuhan who also got silenced and eventually died from the CCP coronavirus. https://youtu.be/eEUqCxP5Lvc still think Chinese people like their government? Just these 3 videos alone makes me believe you're full of shit and you can go f### yourself.

Russell Phelan also if you think they feel positive towards them I don't see it in fact I am seeing the exact opposite. Perhaps what you are looking at is what naturally happens at the barrel of a gun. Even communism's own history has proven this only leads to problems. So if you are going to try to convince me that the opposite is true you are going to have to do better than that.
1
Russell Phelan actually yes on both not only do I have Chinese friends but Chinese friends and close relations who were harassed, wrongfully imprisoned, and even murdered simply because what they believed in didn't jive with what the party said was appropriate for a proper Chinese, or whatever you choose to call it. In fact I lived in Asia for 6 years with time in Philippines, Thailand, Laos as well as China. So yes I know not just China but Asia in general better than you realize. Got any other stupid questions or are you done demonstrating your own ignorance. And in case you are thinking it, maybe not but just in case, I wasn't a missionary. I was there on my own cognizance and alone.
1
Russell Phelan say what you like but I know from experience that regimes like the CCP have only 1 destiny and depending on the downfall it almost always involves the gallows.
1
Russell Phelan I am a bit of a history geek so in many ways I see many parallels to nazi Germany. Even in what seemed like approval towards the CCP there were also germans who displayed the same deceptive, what could best be described as, 2 faced approval. Case in point outwardly you had Army officers like Colonel Carl Von Stauffenberg who outwardly appeared to approve of the regime but history marked him well as an the one man who came the closest to killing Hitler and ending the regime. In my experience in Asia similar attitudes exist mostly because just like in Germany they have to. Only in few instances and always with their inner circles do they show their true feelings. And who knows maybe just like in the weirmach there are probably some Chinese officials who would love to plant a bomb underneath Xi's dinner table. It's only a matter of time before such people might get their chance.

You're probably not that far off. Even history has plenty of examples of how " crossing the line " never resolves anything. Boston Massacre, bloody easter, etc. All were actions thought would solve the problem and the bonehead in charge learned the hard way that all he really did was turn a simple problem into a quagmire.
1
Funny how you call them cockroaches when everyone knows how hard they are to kill. Case in point it's been 3 months and surprise surprise they don't seem to be quitting anytime soon and the CCP seems to have tried everything except send in the troops which we all know they are never going to do because of the media attention this has drawn. And let's be honest the last Time troops were being shown firing into a crowd on every news network in existence it didn't end very well. And China knows that hence why they are not sending the army.
