That's why it's called an appeal to authority fallacy. Whether or not a person is an authority on anything doesn't mean they can't do the research themselves and draw their own conclusions. If you disagree with those conclusions then that is your right but recognize the fact that the other guy, in this case Matt Walsh, also has the right to make that conclusion. At the end of the day the fruits of both sides is what determines who was right or wrong not what their level of education is. Perfectly well educated people have been wrong and such people took it as being just as if not more interesting then when they are right. That's what education is supposed to be.
