There is a chapter in the book that goes into why this is critical for socialism It's part of the concept of dictating the proletariat. Essentially anyone doing this is trying to create a society where only the guys in power know and understand what's going on and everyone else is pretty much a drone. That's the proletariat. So it's exactly what Kaitlyn is talking about when she says they want us to be equally dumb and unable to question anything. That's the world the left is creating.
