  1. She probably got asylum at the US embassy or somehow got word to the US government she planned to defect and was "rescued." Planning to leave a country like China is relatively easy even Houdini could pull it off it's putting the plan to action that gets tricky I would assume. Then again maybe I just watched way to many prison escape movies and it maybe wasn't anything sophisticated at all.

  3. If she is good luck trying to date her. You ever tried to date someone protective custody? Trust me because I study this stuff you might as well try to date someone serving life in prison. More to the point you will find it hard to do when a person is intentionally put so far out of the public eye you will be lucky to even bump into her at a supermarket and even if you did you wouldn't recognize her at all. The marshals service is supposed to be really good at this sort of thing.
