  2.  @PhilipAlexanderHassialis  Because normally reading should be reading, not having to decode some historical meanings. In "normal" language" you just read and so can pronounce the word right, without having a slightest idea about what it means or where it comes from. This is what "reading" is about. English "reading" is not reading, it is picture translating.
