  2. Parents whose kids experience behavioral problems, need to seek advice from successful parents who have well behaved kids. Not from doctors, who have no qualifications in child upbringing. Not from psychiatrists, who also have no expertise in raising mentally healthy children, and are financually invested in keeping clients for selling psychotropic drugs. Only people who raised mentally healthy kids know how to raise kids properly.they are the true experts. So are good teachers, trainers, coaches, these are real experts too. Any parent whose kid is in trouble, please choose among your friends and neighbours an experienced parent who already raised their kids well, and ask them to watch your parenting. Ask them to point out a mistake. Call supernanny. Go to an adult psychologist to resolve your own adult issues. This is the real way forward. There is a paid troll on here, called filipeflower, he will jump with abuse on any commenter who disagrees with an agenda that " badly behaving kids are ill".

  11. Hyperfocus exists in all people and is irrelevant to ADHD, nothing to do with the diagnosis. All ADHD are cognitively disadvantage, as impaired attention skill impaires all learning and intelligence suffers. One cannot pass a test with ADHD, so always low result.

ADHD means below 80 IQ. Hyperfocus is something everyone has, all addictions are based on that. normally mum will not let a kid to play gadgets for too long, but ADHD kids are kids of disorganised and damaged mothers. No, diagnostic criteria of ADHD do NOT mention hyperfocus at all.

I don't know anyone unable to hyperfocus, all people can do it, good people and kids on creative thingsand work, the other side of the bell curve on computer games, gadgets ( as allowed by their ineffective parents) and drugs. hyperfocus is NOT in the diagnostic criteria of ADHD

This paper also references about 20 other papers that I would not quote all here for copyright reasons (youtube deletes any comments with big chunks of papers). Yes, I have reviewed ALL published studies, including the studies that explain why there are NO studies nowadays that investigate the behaviour of the parents of the abnormally behaving kids. under CCTV conditions. I highly doubt that a good psychologist has not reviewed those papers that I know.

Neurodiversity exists among normals, psychiatrically disordered are outside the norm. This is why they get a diagnosis. There is not diagnosis " a type of the norm". Dogs can come in many breeds and are neurodiverse, but dogs born with three legs are abnormal, not diverse. I have no desire to speak with you any more, speaking with psychiatrically disordered person will not yield any result. they insist, persist, and the doctor gives them neuroleptics for that.

Calling to be kind to child abusers... a parent who fails to instil obedience and discipline (along with skills such as patience, dressing, waiting, politeness, cleanness)in their kid by age 4, are abusing their kids and do not deserve support but rather social services forced help and protection for the child from bad upbringing.

Those disorders are behaviourally defined, parents have not used proper discipline, so how do you know that something was wrong with those kids before they got misparented? It is so easy to get them under control. By OLD methods that worked on brats for centuries.

  36. It is convenient way for their parents out of the obvious blame. It is convenient for the society to deal with antisocial youngsters by declaring them psychiatrically ill, so they get affected by the mental health legislation and could be neutralised easily without a court order. Clever.

ADHD kids cannot, this excludes high IQ. Mothers of pathologically naughty kids should stop dreaming. Research: "ADHD is often also associated with lower intelligence quotient (IQ; e.g., Crosbie and Schachar, 2001). For instance, Frazier et al. If there are good grades at school, but only home life is affected, there is no grounds for this diagnosis. Impulsive behaviour = parents have not trained in the non-impulsive behaviour (which is not natural but a skill to be learnt). Fairytales from ADHD parents about their "gifted" kids is the most laughable stock ever. Nope, gifted kids are as far remote from psychiatrically disordered brats as one can imagine. Yuo are the only one in the universe considering him bright, as truly bright people manage to understand how to behave in order to not be disruptive (as being disruptive means being hated by every single adult and child the kid ever meets).

Get help from a dog trainer. he will explain to you that Pavlov law works on all mammals, and if adogd bites or disobeys, it is the owner who messed up the upbringing. Emotional regulation is a skill the job to teach which is the parents' job. Well, if a kid can BEHAVE, the kid can behave. Just the adults around him should do what I do, what Jordan Peterson does, what Sami Timimi does, and the kid will behave around them, too. No bad behaviour = no diagnosis, simple to lose it. In the UK pre- 1986 there were hardly any ADHD kids. For a reason. Again, must recommend you a dog trainer.

No child of a normal, good mother will be allowed to spend more time than absolutely good for his/her development, doing something. A child of a foolish woman will keep going playing with the gadget. My evidence is the formal diagnostic criteria of ADHD, which do NOT include hyperfocus. Hyperfocus is NOT defined in DSM, as any good mother will NEVER let her kid to keep doing something for longer than absolutely normal and reasonable. For example, I hyperfocus on my commission when I am doing it, my kid would hyperfocus on music when he is listening, I don't know a single person who is not capable of hyperfocusing. A good mother's kid does not have much access to gadgets, so nothing to hyperfocus on, apart fr m studies and creative encouraged activities such as sport and music. Modern research is heavily biased and dependent on grants, as you know. The more disordered kids appear, the more the ritalin budget will grow, currently UK budget for stimulant drugs topped 15 billion pounds.

  64. Yuo just have a rpoblem with parenting. Find an old lady, a successful mother of several kids, and ask her to point out your parenting mistakes. When she does not want to sit at the table, he food should get REMOVED for the nerxt 4 hours, then again put on the table, but at soon as the girl stands up, REMOVED and no food for the next 4 hours. If you do not teach your daughter to OBEY you, she will drive you crazt. But the blame is not on her, but on her mum. It is your responsibility to set boundaries, if you cannot do this, YOU seek help as a parent, for yourself, do nto put the problem onto the child's shoulders. A 3y old should NOT be afraid of an unknown person, you overestimate your importance in her life. She loves world more than she loves you. No diagnosis of ADHD could be given until age 6. At three this behaviour is normal, if the mother cannot parent properly. Teaching the mother is the key. If you want, I can tell you exactly what you should do in what situation, and 1 month later you will have a model child.
