Nobody won, there were millions killed on both sides, generations died for future generations,one of the last Wars where Generals and Governments sent troops out in there thousands as nothing more ultimately as Machine fodder, the ones that survived could be gassed, Horses, millions of them were were killed, the ones that survived, were fed to our troops and German prisoners, the Government did want them back, so the indigenous people got them for food also, so, yes, nobody won, and who know what all these poor souls might have done in there lives, and anyway, we went back to War again ten years later anyway.
