So, perhaps just a little bit of caution would be prudent when defending Elon Muskโ€™s future promises? Elon Has been promising fully autonomous Teslas "next year," since 2016. Doesnโ€™t it seem like Musk had an incentive to be overly optimistic in his presentations to investors about FSD โ€” in order to hit his ridiculously ambitious compensation package numbers? Elonโ€™s pay package (that is in legal limbo at the moment) was based mostly on the increase in $TSLA market cap โ€” not how many cars are sold or how profitable Tesla is. It doesnโ€™t seem to you that Elon had an incentive to be excessively "optimistic" about FSD capabilities โ€” to pump-up Tesla shares โ€” so that he can get the biggest payout in history?
