  1. Even before the recent fighting began, Israel has been economically blockading Palestinians, stalling their economy. (To be fair, from the Israeli, perspective, the reason for the economic blockade is to minimize the chance of weapon making materials making it in to the oppressed and angry hands of Palestinians.)
