ā ļø In 2020, the year the taxicab video went viral, Michael Plattās hedge fund had bigger problems than mere boasting: "BlueCrest agreed to pay $170 million to former clients to settle a U.S. regulatorās allegations that it effectively placed its own profits ahead of its customers." ā as per Bloomberg article.

Ā @ahmadrafieeishak8466Ā , I think Neuralink has an enormous potential. š® If Neuralink is successful, I predict it will disrupt the iPhone, along with all the other smartphone platforms. š® If Neuralink is successful ā it will be the dominant platform ā and if the iPhone is still around ā it will become just another app on the Neuralinkās enormous and subsuming platform of platforms.

ā TLDR: Appleās focus on privacy increases personal data on device ā which is necessary to make AI more useful to the individual. Ā @sansin6250Ā āā , other companies may have similar AI capabilities but only Apple has access to detailed and more private information about the individual ā which makes AI far more useful to the individual. Other smartphone manufacturers could have this private information as well, but people are more likely to trust a company that is focused on privacy, not selling ads.

Thatās a reasonable assumption (of corse, it is not always necessarily true). For example, Warren Buffett is approximately 6 times richer than Michael Platt ā and Buffett has always driven himself. Many investors get really rich because with all their heart ā they prefer investing rather than spending their money. They enjoy their work and the money is just way to keep the score of the game. I suspect that type of mindset is formed, in part, due to the unique psychological predispositions of some peopleās personalities. For example, individuals with obsessive-compulsive personality disorder traits (#OCPD) ā tend to be not just frugal but full blown misers. People like this, they tend to understand that a penny saved is a penny earned!

ā¦Thereās more context to this story besides contentious claims of being the #1 hedge fund manager in the world: Sometimes, Michael Plattās talents includes being less than honest: ā ļø In 2020, the year the taxicab video went viral, Michael Plattās hedge fund had bigger problems than just boasting: "BlueCrest agreed to pay $170 million to former clients to settle a U.S. regulatorās allegations that it effectively placed its own profits ahead of its customers." ā as per Bloomberg article. #Narcissism

On the other hand, it is not merely a guy explaining what he does for a living: š„ Subjectively purporting yourself to be #1 is bragging. But, the really bad part for Platt is that an objective measure of Plattās current affluence does not support his claim of being the #1 hedge fund manager.
