  1.  @entropy8902  Jahangir was not a good . and neither was Babur. Only Akbar was the tolerable among the Mughals and that too depended on his mood. Jahangir ordered the first war of religion against Sikhism and executed 5th Guru of Sikhism Guru Arjan Dev when he refused to embrace Islam and refused to give his Fight for rights of Sikhs to have their Golden Temple handed over to Mughals for them to make a mosque . He also refused to lay down the fight for rights against Sikhs and Hindus alike.

  2. Yup this is accurate though more grey . before they came , there was never a conflict among Hindus Buddhists and Jains regarding religion. in fact Communalism never existed in India till Delhi sultanate was laid and started what we call Ghazwa e Hind ("Islamic conquest of India")
