  1. The real problem facing is the lack of factories that are dedicated to making IFVs & Armored Vehicles . For 7th Largest Country , We have only One Factory at Avadi that produces tanks & Many other smaller Industries dedicated to e IFV & Tank refurbishments . Also The import gang who are more focused on Imported goods than going Local . Just look at recent India US Stryker deal as well as India Canada dispute & how Canadian govt temporarily banned the sales of Stryker parts to India ( Good for us & our Tata Kestrel Tho . Also It will be good to see what your view as a Canadian has in the development of Kestrel 8X8 APC & Zorawar 105mm Light Tank

They do ( HAL actually made ULH , Dhruv , LAH Rudra & LCH Prachand without any major hindrance ) [ This is the same HAL which is facing major hindrance in Tejas , AMCA & IMRH Program ] Almost Half of Indian Navy runs on Indigenous vessels made by Goa , Kolkota , Vishakhapatnam & Cochin Shipyards But I won't say the same for the Army

There are many Good Indian Equipment out there like Pinaka 214mm MLRS , Zorawar Light Tank , Tata 8X8 WHAP Kestrel , Mahindra ALSV , OFB Aditya / Yuktirath , Brahmos Missile , Akash NG , Tata MRAP etc Also There will be some logistical sharing between Zorawar Light Tank & Proposed FICV as both are being made by Larsen & Turbo

Also Do you know about India's 105mm Field Gun , which is a 105mm Howitzer based on British L118 Howitzer but instead of L118 , This was taken from FV433 Abbot ( India bought the Value Added Abbots during 60s & 70s ) . Also The Americans have their own 105mm version of the L118 called M119 Light howitzer

  9.  @medaliissa  No . not at all . where did you hear that ? Prachand is in fact up for Export . even early than Tejas which have yet to enter mass production . Ecuador did retire their fleet of Dhruv to civilian use because of expensive logistics maintenance & eventual falling of helicopter engine , but the Dhruv still is in service with India , Nepal , Bhutan , Maldives & Mauritius while some unknown amount are in use by civilian airlines from Israel , Turkiye & Peru

  11. Also I forgot to tell you one more thing in your BVP M80 Video . The Yugoslav JNA did have APCs employed before the BVP M80 IFV . It was called OT M60 & was kind of based on M75 APC & SU-76 Tank destroyer mashed up together & was the first domestically produced APC in Yugoslavia & also exported to Yugoslavia . Tanks Encyclopedia have also made a Video on This & to replace the OT M60 ( Weak armor & Highly inflammable engine with repeated overheating & gasoline leaks ) , The work on BVP M80 was started till the IFV was completed

T-15 is just too heavy & complicated for Indian military infrastructure & economics . they are actually looking something similar & cheap to maintain as something like the BMP-2 . Even the Kurganets 25 IFV is way too complicated . Indian army was actually looking forward to induct BMP-3 but in 2014 , GOI MOD scrapped this Idea in favor of either an Indigenous FICV or more western IFV like the Bradley or K21 IFV Also in 2024 , the Zorawar Light Tank was made IMO , The Czech BVP M2 is the best suitable upgrade for India's BMP-2

No amount of Amphibious capabilities are gonna help us , in fact no armor movement would , This will be a almost pure Infantry vs Infantry thing supported by wheeled armored platforms like MRAPs & LAMVs , artilleries & Airstrikes ( in fact lots of artillery barrages , drone strikes & airstrikes ) Amphibious features can really help us , if Pakistan really did something stoopingly so low ( Like 2001 Parliament attack ) that will be forcing us to turn Operation Brass Tracks into Reality . Ofc these two are in different timelines as well as we risk taking nukes on our cities . But remember what late PM Atul Vajyapayee said , worth it , in fact more than worth the risk

Also add the amount of Diversity 4 Major Language groups ( Indo Arian , Dravidian , Sino Tibetan & Austro-Asiatic ) with multiple languages , branches & dialects 7 Major Religion ( Hinduism Islam Sikhism Buddhism Jainism Christianity Zoroastrianism ) Varying Geography ( From Mountains to Oceans to Deserts to Plateaus to Tropical Forests to Flood Plains ) The mixture of both Federal & Central authority / Quasi-Federalism Only Three Countries like those exist in World :- Brazil , Russia & Indonesia & none of them has a population of India ( Size of Europe with population of China )

  21.  @mverick5444  Bradley is Good , even the Best if you don't consider Kurganets 25 ., but is it worthy for Indian Geography ( especially with no Amphibious Capabilities ) , I think Not BMP-2 is too old & even Army is looking forward to retire them . But the problem is , which IFV is as cheap as a BMP-2 but more Modernised enough with modern features & prioritized crew safety along with cheap to manufacture , lightweight & manufacture ? Only Three IFVs like that come into My Mind >BVP-M80 ( All except not so decent Autocannon & inadequate AT capabilities ) > K 21 IFV South Korean version ( The ROSK service version is cheap with a Good Autocannon , Good AT & AA capabilities , Is lightweight & is Amphibious as well with floats ) > BVP SKCZ Sakal / M2 Excalibur ( Is a heavily modified Version of BMP-2 by both Czechia & Slovakia with a 30mm RCWS & AT Missiles )
