  1. Wait a minute , except some in JASDF , majority of Japanese equipment are Indigenious. Because American equipments are too heavy and spacious to be able to be operated properly in the Japanese terrain and in Japanese bridges. Japan has officially started indigenization of its Air force by adding Kawasaki and Mitsubishi made aircrafts like OH-1 scout + light attack helicopter C-1 and C-2 Transport aircrafts F-X stealth fighter 5th Gen Jet.

  3. ​ @Emilechen Japan can, US and Japanese constitution doesn't lead them to. Japan can't wage war as per their constitution. And ICBMs and Bombers are part of an aggressive force as per the image portrayal goes , especially in Japanese society. That's why Japanese politicians and military key figures are trying to find loopholes in this constitution.

  4. ​ @Emilechen also Japan already has Anti ship missiles like older Type 88 Surface to ship missiles and newer Type 12 Surface to Ship missiles.
