As an Indian I can say , Democracy or Not , China has a high hidden hand in the region, especially in arming both sides of the conflict. And they are the ultimate winner in conaolidating their polito economic gains in the Golden Triangle. Plus either way , We are closing our borders with Myanmar.

@arielquelme Do you have a single idea about how things happen in Indian side of Punjab. Fyi , The so called Khalistan movement has already been effectively crushed by Indian security forces back in 90s when it was at it's peak strongest. Plus Indian spies are active all around in US , UK and especially Canada , trying to neutralise any threats if possible uncluding assasination of any pro Khalistani politicians if necessary. And oh Boy We have done this in UK and Canada many times and got away with this. But the Main thing is Sikh People in India supports the Nation. Everyone hates the Govt no matter which one is elected because corruption ,but We all deep down are high nationalistic people. And Indian state of Punjab has the highest percentage of enlistment out of the population plus number wise enrollment in Armed forces. India , Bangladesh , Sri Lanka and Myanmar are currently in a silent but diplomatic tussle regarding who will control which areas and which areas should be put under joint extraction. Also don't forget CIA has huge hands in narco-money and illegal gun running . First of all SDF is not a terrorist Group . But FSA and allied groups are. Both were supplied by the US regardless. But once Turkiye and Russia sent troops in Syria and a Peace treaty was signed , US threw SDF under the bus , or rather in front of the oncoming Turkish forces , who are now openly supporting FSA and allied groups.

Pakistan army was also the main reason why Jinnah's plan to integrate Kashmir into Pakistan also bite to dust because they acted too early and too rogue against Jinnah's wish . @Azure168In both India and Pakistan , Only the Religion is common. Hinduism for India and Islam for Pakistan. That didn't save Pakistan from it's own partition into Pakistan and Bangladesh in 1971 War. India never saw because not only Hinduism but also because of Democratic form of Govt , Strong Bureaucracy that was left by Brits as a rare W and above all , we all learnt our lesson that never ever cause splits amongst ourselves and let the foreign powers conquer us through divide and conquer.

@Se1goulien FYI for people who accuse meitis are armed by the state Govt , let them see that Kukis and their Allied militias are literally armed with Chinese and Burmese weapons which have been captured by the Burmese rebels , which include RPGs and Mortars too. Even Assam Rifles are having a hard time because entire Kuki dominated areas are having snipers and IEDs everywhere.
