My only question:- "WHAT IF SOVIET UNION HAD A STRONG NAVAL AND AMPHIBIOUS FLEET AND INVADED JAPAN ??" (**It's only an opinion asking question and is intended to hurt nobody's emotion**)

Β @spqr1945Β but imagine what if they were both the strongest and largest???

Β @TB-qq5mrΒ nope. Guns cannot kill you. It's the enemy who kills you using it. And what makes it worse is the Face of the Enemy you remembered and lived with as your Own. Imagine if the Same Demoralising Reporting would have been done during ww2.

While no Doubt that the Russian regular army is not running out of tanks , but their local allies in LPR and DNR have lost a lot of it , along with their crews to the Ukrainian anti tank warfare. also a lot of these tanks which are captured from Ukrainian stocks are largely destroyed in combat or by Ukrainian soldiers themselves to avoid any capture use . and since there is no guarantee if these militias will be backed always by the Russian army on all front s or not, Kremlin decided to send the militia aid as T-62s in order to fend for themselves and to get a quickly trained crew. Plus it's a better way to spend all those 115mm Ammo rather than let them go astray.

Don't know if my comment will be noticed or not this late but still here's my opinion the Panzerfaust 150 and the supposed Panzerfaust 250 have been captured and used extensively by Soviets and Yugoslavians who after the war went on to make 3 indirect Descendants of them, Namely 1)RPG-1 (Prototype) and RPG 2 (improvement over RPG-1) for the Soviet Union and 2)RB M57 and RB-M58 ( M58 is basically an M57 with RPG-2 rounds sort of ) 44mm Anti Tank Rocket Launchers for Yugoslavia SFR. Some Influences however are also taken from other AT weapons of that time like the M1 Bazooka ( Safety trigger and Grip for both RPG and RB series ) . and a trigger mechanism based on cocking the hammer placed behind the trigger and pulling the trigger to release the hammer which then will strike the pin in the tube that in place will ignite the primer that is highly sensitive to sudden rapid physical change (kinda percussion cap like). it is a combination from Panzerfaust trigger mechanism placed upside down along a PIAT trigger and designed on the basis of revolver hammer is to be cocked and released. sorry for my bad way of describing but I am not that expert when it comes into firearms.

Everything helps. But some vehicles prove more useful than the rest. In this case Ex DDR BMP 1 OST and Marder IFV have more importance than tanks like Leopard 1. Also the war has entered a stage where tanks like Leopard 1 are no longer suitable to (tank to tank battle role in Eastern Ukraine against static defense like in war of cities like that in Kyiv and now near Odessa )
