Here is The Entire Family of How RPG-7 is Born.
In 1942 , Both M1 Bazooka and Panzerfaust-1 Were Born enemies to each other.
Then in 1944 M9A1 and 3.5 inch Super Bazooka evolved of the original Design.
Immediately After the End of War, Czechoslovakia Become the First Nation to put a hybrid concept of Bazooka and Panzerfaust into One design and created the Pancerovka Vz 27 .
Finland , Soviet Union and Yugoslavia soon followed Pursuit and came up with their own underrated not so successful to fairly successful designs.
>Finland with 55 S 55 Recoilless rifle in mid 1950s
>Soviet Union first made RPG-1 prototype in 1947, that soon came up with RPG-2 in mid 1950s. RPG-2 is the first export successful version of Panzerfaust family, but it was proved to be not that effective against upgrades in armor. so Soviets came up With RPG-7 and the Chinese cloned both and made Type 69 RPG out of it.
>Yugoslavia initially came with with the Bazach prototype for it's paratrooper. then after mending it's broken relations with USSR, Imported RPG-2 , but also have Several super Bazooka in service too. Looking similar to a bazooka and RPG-2 hybrid but using a pin fire mechanism like RPG instead of electrical spark plug , Yugoslav created the Balkan brother of RPG-2 , The RB-M57 , a 44mm Tube similar to the 43mm Panzerfaust tube, larger than the 40mm Soviet RPG tubes for the RPG-2 and RPG-7. It also adopted rounds intended for the RPG-7 in an upgrade called RB-M58
Now West Germany came up with it's own RPG-7 called the Panzerfaust2 aka PzF 44 in 1963.
And the latest Family Member here is Panzerfaust 3. That still pridefully carries the legacy of Panzerfaust 1. To this Date.
