  1. Hello Task and Purpose. What is Your View on Denel AH-2 Rooivalk. It isn't "stealth" or made something like that. But it sure is fast, and has longer range of operation for less fuel consumption rate , like from a remote base in South Africa or Southern Namibia to the Northernmost Border of Angola , hit the target and come back to base and then repeat the attacking cycle, over that long distance . It is also made to engage any other aerial borne craft in combat and knock them out with A2A Missiles, specially when it comes to helicopter Dogfights and other light attack fighters, like Mil Mi 17 , Mil Mi 24/25/35 etc . It is made based on the erstwhile SADF experience and intel, Denel got from em in Rhodesian Bush war, Mozambique Civil war, Angolan Civil war and mother of all Angolan civil war, as well as from other places like Ethiopia, DR Congo, Liberia, Sierra Leone , Somalia and Chad. Currently Only 16th squadron SAAF operates 12 of them, all in reserve. Few have seen past action in DR Congo peacekeeping mission and did well.
