South Korea has a similar model that resembles to a Social credit score , that is Inspired from The actual Social credit test + 24*7 round the Year Surveillance record history Record, That actually plays an important role in determining Your loyalty to the cause of Party and The Chairman himself (I wouldn't even need to address it as her even) .Plus Your Online Activity and Stasi style interrogation also determines the fate of your credit score . there are many more that I am still not aware about and still searching for. But calling Chinese Social credit as a Myth because of meh "fact-checkers" is as deceitful as addressing people's republic of China as a Democratic Nation with Fundamental Rights of It's citizens being respected, with their privacy respected, free press, free and fair elections, Equality for all etc !

@pewpewDino It may or it maynot be that powerful. Because like you ,We all are blind in front of chinese censorship, which is growing more powerful now as ever outside it's domain. But to tel social credit system as an overall civilian loyalty surveillance system and civilian activities tracker system to not exist is pure fallacy.

Taiwan is officially the Republic of China govt founded by none other than Dr Sun Yat Sen. And the irony is while CCP sorta "celebrate"him and try to paint him as a communist , IRL , Sun Yat Sen was more influenced by and admired the US Constitution and American Republican Govt.
