@wolfgang6597 The kurdish forces are actually ideologically separted among themselves. Those in Syria and Turkey are more either communist or anarchist leaning given in Syria , ba'athism ( Pan Arab nationalist socialism) is still alive and copared to it's neighbour Iraq , were subjected to less Human rights violations. plus YPJ, PKK and other Kurdish groups are young and only have a political history . while the Kurdish forces in Iraq and Iran are more traditional and Ethno- Nationalist in nature . They have a much older history (cause they have been fighting Iraqi forces since 1920s) and give much stress to the preservation of their age old cultures than any specific ideology. also Peshmerga is far better organised than YPG, PKK and the overall SDF, partly because of traditional Iranian support from the beginning (disputed sometimes) and they were the early receivers of US weapons post 2003 invasion. unlike SDF, the Peshmerga was the only fighting group who were very few times on retreat andfor a long time without any US or coalition air support , manage to inflict casualties on daesh. also unlike SDF vs Turkey, The Peshmerga even managed to defeat a joint Iraqi offensive done with Iranian militias in a 2017 offensive North East before ordered to retreat as per a treaty .

@RealCeress Assad actually had Christian militias with their officers serving under him. and in NDF and SAA itself . something that even SDF don't have till now.
