  5. DEI initiatives and anti-discrimination policies aren't going away. They literally were put in place by HR representatives as a layer of protection for their companies that is a safeguard from being broadly sued in court for discriminatory practices, genius. Companies care about making money and saving on expenses. Guess what comes up in HR related news and web content constantly? "Disengagement due to unconscious bias", something that costs USA companies half a trillion dollars per year. Companies pay attention to those numbers because that's half a trillion in potential money being left on a table somewhere. They're not going to back away from the policies, because that would literally open them up to potential lawsuits with multiple plaintiffs. With DEI initiatives and anti-discrimination policies in place, lawsuits often get slimmed down into single plaintiff cases which normally are won by the defendant, not the plaintiff. It literally gives the company a standardized policy to point to in court. They might change the NAME of the policies to appease Donald Trump, but something tells me that HR and the CFO and therefore the CEO is going to be quite unwilling to actually get rid of the exact policies put into place to help them win in discrimination cases over plaintiffs in court.
