Bring in cheaper lamb. The farms can be turned into mansions for rich Arabs, Russians and Chinese who will bring in investment. Aaron Banks already has the connections, and Farage can persuade Trump he can get golf courses at knock-down prices.

Ireland is one reason. Britain is another.

Very good.

Boris isn't left or a fascist.

Oh, dear. Impossible to take him seriously.

MrKingdig Hormone-stuffed beef is what we need. I bet Aaron Banks has already invested in it. Should make a few cases for the US-owned ex-NHS hospitals!!

No they don't.

@totalfreedom1282 The only party that voted in the Reichstag against Hitler's enabling bill were the Social Democrats. Most of them went to concentration camps as a result. It's very glib to use a phrase like 'left fascists', whether through ignorance of because of a commitment to the far right.

That benefits farmers within the EU. Hence Brexit will hammer British farmers.

@bulldetecting2230 Immigration controls are a form of protectionism. As for farming, yes protectionism supports farmers. Do you really think we should import all our food (where it's produced with poor standards) because that would be cheaper? And what do you think of the plans of US globalist health corporates to move into th NHS? Should the NHS not be protected too?
1
@bulldetecting2230 You mentioned protectionism. Controlling the free movement of labour is a form of protectionism. I have to assume you don't understand why it isn't good for very many people.
1
@bulldetecting2230 The Brexiteers want to stop workers from eastern Europe from coming to the Lincolnshire vegetable fields. Employing Britons on far higher wages will lead to more expensive food. The latest tranche of money allocated just for planning for no deal - ie £2 billion - could have been used to subsidise farming rather than being wasted on this chaos.
1
@bulldetecting2230 I didn't vote in the referendum. Events since confirm that the Brexiteers had no plan, and that their real aim is deregulation in line with globalists like Aaron Banks. Britain is more divided than I ever remember. They want to sell off the NHS to US corporates and to destroy the BBC. And all you can do is insult those who point out these facts.
1
Let the farmers go bust. The countryside can be used for golf courses, which I'm sure Donald Trump will be happy to open and develop. Lamb can be imported -- just like chlorinated US chicken.
1
They won't pay these kind of prices.

Johnson thought he could outbid Farage over unicorns.

Irish lamb can easily take over the market.
