  3.  Ru22eLL  Power. Much is about power. That's why the state, on behlaf of society, must regulate and redress embalances of power. For example, taxes on professional footballers paid £375,000 a week should be used to improve pay and conditions of nurses and to give them the correct equipment. This should have been done long before the current COVID19 pandemic. The Brexiteers were proved wrong, again: their argument that the EU is at fault for the belated response in the UK to COVID19 has been shown to be complete nonsense. It was squarely the Johnson governmnet that Farage and other tax-dodgers helped put in place.

If you look at the comparable curves the UK death rate is rising faster than anywhere else (other than the US) and at a faster rate than in Italy as the same period.
