@ChristianIce Nearly all the children I know are driven to school and wear T-shirts at home all winter because the house is so heated. As for the grandparents who encourage all this when they've had four children and 15 grandchildren (carbon footprint?), they're even more ridiculous .... but at least they walked to school and wore jerseys in the winter.

@MunszajnTV Yeah, get mummy to drive us to school, turn up the central heating, demand a new Iphone every six months to upload videos the the data-centres absorbing 10% of world electicity -- and get Fridays off for a climate protest about' changing the system'.

@ChristianIce When you see the clips of these demonstrators, there are all filming away on their Iphones - which are shipped over for them from China so they can keep in contact with their friends also being driven to school in big cars.

@ChristianIce 10% of electricity now powers data centres to store all their rubbish. Give up the phones, walk to school, turn down the central heating, save the planet.

@ChristianIce I turn my laptop on for an hour a day but I don't store junk in the "cloud" (one of the data centers using 10% of world electricity). I have no central heating. I wear jerseys in the winter. I walk. I don't take flights. I demand these kids take action themselves and stop blethering on at others.

@ChristianIce I don't have a lawn, I allow the grass and wild flowers to grow. Old people walked to school and didn't have central heating. I voted Green. I'm not going to lectured to by people who do have lawns, who eat food delivered by lorries, who wear T-shirts in the winter in centrally-heated houses and who are driven to school by thir parents. Going on a demo and filming it (to store even more in the data centers already consuming 5% of world electricity) does nothing to reduce carbon imprint.
