  2. Support for the EU has gone up in every country with the Brexit fiasco, and we can expect more of the same because it is only just beginning. Thing is, who are the Brexiteers going to blame now?

  3.  Salvatore Gravano  If you look back over British history, you will see the left and liberals pressing for democracy. Go to the 1832 Reform Act, Chartism, the background to 1918, and the Labour government after 1945 abolishing the property vote. The Tories opposed almost all of this.

  4. Labour should have voted for the May deal. What's going to happen now is going to be far, far worse. And that would have respected the referendum result.
