  1. I live in the UK where we have free school meals for kids and universal health care and many other state funded things the US doesn't have. When I take my taxes and compare to the US taxes and a comparable health insurance plus schooling for 2 kids I pay quite a lot less. I also get paid more than the same job I the US plus work less hours and get much more paid vacation. Look outside your own country and see how much better things can be
